BUILDING DEPARTMENT –
PART-TIME LOCAL BUILDING INSPECTOR
The Town of Provincetown is accepting applications for an opening in the Building Department for a Part Time Local Building Inspector. This is a 20 hour per week position that is responsible for Administrative, technical and inspection work related to the enforcement and interpretation of the state building code, the local zoning ordinance, and other applicable regulations; all other related work as required.

BOARD OF HEALTH
On May 15, 2025, the Board approved changes to the following changes to the Board of Health regulations:
4000: TOBACCO AND SMOKING REGULATIONS, and
4100. TOBACCO PRODUCT SALES.
The Provincetown Board of Health held public hearing posted 4/22/25 to http://www.provincetown-ma.gov/1419/Proposed-Regulations . The amended regulation becomes effective June 1, 2025 following publication and will be posted to https://www.provincetown-ma.gov/461/Bylaws-Regulations
The Board of Health approved 4-0-0.

The Town of Provincetown is now accepting applications for the full-time position of Program Coordinator for the Council on Aging. This full-time position is typically 40 hours per week. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing COA programs, activities, and special events with the goal of supporting the COA mission of offering programs to enrich the well-being of older adults and attracting new participants to the COA. This is a Grade 4, union position with a starting 6-month training wage of $56,553. The position is available immediately and will remain open until filled.
