In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Chapter 30, §39M and all other applicable laws, sealed bids for the following project will be received by the Town of Provincetown:
Project Description:
The work includes the construction of one (1) new submersible wastewater pumping station and all associated site work, electrical, mechanical, and structural components necessary to provide sewer service to the Jerome Smith sewer subarea of Provincetown, MA.
Bid Submission:

Pre-Bid Conference (Non-Mandatory):
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit will be held at 16 Jerome Smith Road Provincetown MA 02657
Date and Time: Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM (local time)

Bid Security:
Bid deposits in the amount of 5% of the bid total must be included, in the form of a bid bond, certified check, treasurer’s or cashier’s check, made payable to the Town of Provincetown.
Contract Documents:
Electronic contract documents and plans will be available via the Town’s online procurement portal on or after the date of this advertisement on MAY 15th 2025.
Other Requirements:
This project is subject to the provisions of M.G.L. c.149 or c.30 §39M, as applicable, and the Town of Provincetown’s Special Acts. Prevailing wage rates as determined by the Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards (DLS) and Federal Davis Bacon wage rates apply. The selected contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. This project is funded in part by the State Revolving Fund (SRF) program and the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust.
The Town of Provincetown reserves the right to reject all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.

BUILDING DEPARTMENT –
PART-TIME LOCAL BUILDING INSPECTOR
The Town of Provincetown is accepting applications for an opening in the Building Department for a Part Time Local Building Inspector. This is a 20 hour per week position that is responsible for Administrative, technical and inspection work related to the enforcement and interpretation of the state building code, the local zoning ordinance, and other applicable regulations; all other related work as required.
