Confirmed bird sightings on the Outer Cape in the week preceding the Independent’s deadline on Tuesday, Feb. 11 included the following, based on a report prepared by Mass Audubon’s Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.
That same old Spotted Towhee is still there. At the Provincetown Airport. You know the one.
Birds at Race Point in Provincetown this week included a Pacific Loon, 37 Razorbills, a Dovekie, 4 Common Murres, 17 Iceland Gulls, 2 Common Ravens, and 65 Snow Buntings.
Nothing else. C’mon, lovebirds, time to get outside.
