October 8, 2024
In accordance with Chapter 369 of the Acts of 1982, amending Chapter 797 of the Acts of 1979, notice is hereby given that the Wellfleet Select Board will hold a virtual public hearing on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. on the issue of allocating the local property tax levy among the five classes for Fiscal Year 2025. (Chapter 40, Section 56 as amended by Chapter 369 of the Acts of 1982)
Options open to the Town will be provided, and any taxpayer wishing to present oral or written information on their views will be recognized by the Chair. At the hearing, the Board of Assessors will provide all information and data relevant to making a final determination on the allocation of the tax burden among the five classes of real property: residential, open space, commercial, industrial, and personal property as set forth in Chapter 40 Section 56.
Instructions for remote participation will be posted on the Town’s website at wellfleet-ma.gov.
