GOLD & BLACK DEDICATES THIS YEAR’S BALL TO AIDS SUPPORT GROUP
The second annual Black and Gold Ball filled town hall on Saturday, Nov. 2 with almost 400 revelers. DJ Lina Bradford brought her mix of disco, house, and soul music into the late night, and the best of Provincetown’s costumes were on display. Co-organizer Kevin O’Shea says he hopes the ball will be an annual tradition in town. “Halloween has become a fantastic weekend for business and tourism in the shoulder season,” he said. “We hope the ball can help support that growth in future years.” This year the event brought in $5,000 for the AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod.
