Scott Czyoski, 50, of Brewster, formerly of Provincetown, died on Oct. 8, 2021 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He was surrounded by family and friends, according to an obituary provided by Gately Funeral Service. The cause of death was not reported.
Born and raised in Provincetown, Scott worked as a carpenter and started his own company, STC Construction, and reportedly enjoyed teaching others the skills he had learned over the years.
According to the obituary, Scott is survived by his mother, Delanie Santos of Provincetown; his father, Thomas Czyoski, also of Provincetown; his children, Ryan Czyoski and Emma Sullivan Johnson of Orleans; his former wife and friend, Rachael Sullivan Sigsbee of Orleans; and his brother, Thomas Czyoski of Amherst.
Hockey was one of Scott’s passions, and, according to the obituary, he enjoyed coaching his son Ryan’s hockey team, the Lower Cape Coyotes.
Calling hours were held at the Gately Funeral Home in Provincetown on Oct. 17, and a Funeral Mass was celebrated on Oct. 18 at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Provincetown. Burial followed in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
