Mapping Cape Cod

“cARTography: Envisioning Cape Cod,” is an exhibition, curated by Samuel Tager, of historic maps at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, 60 Hope Lane in Dennis. Running Wednesday, June 30th through October 3, the exhibition takes a multifaceted approach. It features maps on loan from the collection of Orleans resident David Garner, as well as “an immersive installation by a local contemporary artist and cartographer,” Mark Adams. “Our Story” conveys the Native American perspective on the mapping of Cape Cod. There will also be two recently restored art deco murals. The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.
