Frank J. Krkuc of Provincetown died at home on June 6, 2021. He was 67.
Born in Johnstown, Pa., he was the son of the late Steve and Mary (Pavkovich) Krkuc. In 1988, he graduated from Duffs Business Institute in Pittsburgh, specializing in court reporting. He became a court reporter in Washington, D.C., a job he loved.
He moved to Provincetown in the early ’90s. Here, he worked as a server, dog walker, painter, and retail clerk in many of Provincetown’s retail shops and restaurants. He loved all of his dog-walking clients, especially Wally, his all-time favorite.
He was an avid reader and gardener, and he particularly enjoyed the flea market and thrift shop circuit.
He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle parish.
He is survived by many loving friends in Provincetown. He was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Ennis.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 21 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 11 Prince St., Provincetown. The Mass will be live-streamed on stpeters-ptown.org. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Face coverings are strongly recommended for those not vaccinated for the Covid-19 virus.
