Life Is a CabaretFest

The 21st Provincetown CabaretFest will take place on Wednesday, June 23rd through Sunday, June 27th. The theme: “Broadway at the Beach.” A V.I.P. pass is $200 (individual events range from $15 to $50) at provincetowncabaretfest.com.
Some of the highlights: a master class with Angela Bacari, former vocal coach to Liza Minnelli, on Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sidney Myer gives a master class on Thursday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Later, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., Shelley Taylor-Boyd performs “Razzle Dazzle ’Em!” at the Post Office Café.
Steve Ross, the winner of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award, gives a master class on Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Learn “How to Dress for the Stage” with Cookie Schillawski on Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon. Saturday night, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., Roderick Ferguson does his comedy act, “Man Overboard,” at the Post Office Café. It all culminates in a student showcase and celebration on Sunday.
