Master Planner Plans
The town has hired the Providence, R.I. architectural firm Union Studio to create the master plan for North Eastham Town Center, Town Administrator Jacqui Beebe announced at the Jan. 24 select board meeting. Its three architects will collaborate with Rob Brennan of Amesbury-based CapeBuilt, which specializes in workforce housing.
The Cape Cod Commission hired Union Studio in 2018 to develop “context-appropriate housing development prototypes” for several Cape Cod towns, including Eastham. Mockups can be viewed at tinyurl.com/2p84dvas.
Horsley Witten Group of Sandwich will be the project engineer.
The team’s first meeting will take place in February. The master plan is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.
